About

The Tamna Cultural Festival holds significance in reinterpreting the cultural heritage and community spirit left by the region's forefathers from a contemporary perspective to develop them into modern values, while widely promoting Jeju's unique culture and arts. Furthermore, by linking with the National Sports Festival, it aims to create a venue where culture and sports harmonize, and to expand into a cultural festival where residents actively participate and co-create. Through this, the festival seeks to foster communication and harmony that spans generations and regions, explore the possibilities of future culture based on Jeju's identity, and pass on the value of Tamna culture to the next generation.

Crowds & parking

During festivals, roads and car parks around the venue get much busier than usual. Opening day and weekend afternoons are the busiest; weekdays and early mornings are calmer. The page for Bodeoksa(Jeju) (0.8 km away) shows a day-by-day crowd forecast and nearby parking.
