About

The Citywide Energy Walk Festival is an eco-friendly energy participation program organized to commemorate the 2026 Daejeon World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-9). It is an event where participants can walk together through downtown Daejeon in the fall, experience the value of energy and the environment firsthand, and reflect on a sustainable future.

This event is a walking program where anyone can participate enjoyably without any competitive ranking. Participants will start at Daejeon Expo Citizens’ Plaza, walk through the Hanbat Arboretum area, and complete mobile stamp missions along the way. By completing a total of four missions via smartphone QR code verification, participants will receive a completion reward and a mobile certificate of completion. Alongside the walking program, various other activities will be held to help participants learn about energy in an easy and fun way.

Crowds & parking

During festivals, roads and car parks around the venue get much busier than usual. Opening day and weekend afternoons are the busiest; weekdays and early mornings are calmer. The page for Leeungno Museum (0.1 km away) shows a day-by-day crowd forecast and nearby parking.
